Privacy Policy

When you use ResuVortex, we collect only what is necessary to provide the Service:

• Account information — your email address, created when you sign up
• CV content — the text or document you paste or upload to your profile
• Job search URL — the job board search URL you provide to configure your daily digest
• Delivery preferences — your chosen delivery time (morning or afternoon) and active/paused status
• Job and resume history — records of jobs found for your account and resume PDFs generated on your behalf

We do not collect payment information, phone numbers, physical addresses, or any data beyond what is listed above.

We use your data exclusively to provide the ResuVortex service:

• To scan job boards using your search URL and identify relevant listings
• To generate tailored resume drafts using your CV content
• To deliver your daily job digest to your email address at your chosen time
• To maintain your account and preferences

We do not use your data for advertising. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to any third party.

To generate tailored resume drafts, your CV text and individual job descriptions are sent to the Anthropic Claude API. Anthropic processes this data to return a generated resume draft, which is then stored in your account and delivered to your inbox.

Per Anthropic's API usage policy, data submitted through the API is not used to train Anthropic's models. Your CV content is not retained by Anthropic beyond what is needed to process each individual request.

Your account data, CV content, job history, and resume history are stored in Supabase, which runs on Amazon Web Services (AWS) infrastructure located in the United States. All data in transit and at rest is encrypted using industry-standard protocols.

ResuVortex uses the following third-party services. Each has its own privacy policy governing how they handle data:

• Supabase — database and authentication — supabase.com/privacy
• Anthropic — AI model API — anthropic.com/privacy
• Google — optional sign-in provider — policies.google.com/privacy
• Vercel — hosting and deployment — vercel.com/legal/privacy-policy

You have the following rights regarding your personal data:

• Access — you can view your stored CV, job search URL, and preferences at any time via the Settings page
• Correction — you can update any of your data at any time via the Settings page
• Deletion — you can delete all your profile data via Settings → Danger zone → "Delete all my data". To request deletion of your authentication record, contact us at kenan97usa@gmail.com
• Portability — you may request a copy of your data in a portable format by emailing kenan97usa@gmail.com

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. When you close your account or delete your data via the Settings page, your profile data (CV, preferences, job history, resume history) is deleted immediately.

Any residual data in backups or logs will be purged within 30 days of account closure.

ResuVortex uses essential session cookies only. These cookies are required to keep you signed in and maintain your authentication session. They contain no personal data beyond a session token.

We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or any third-party analytics cookies. No cross-site tracking occurs.

ResuVortex is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a minor has created an account, please contact us at kenan97usa@gmail.com and we will delete the account promptly.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
